About Me

Hello I’m Tom, a Manchester-based freelance web developer and server specialist with 11 years of experience.

I develop web applications in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, Flash, AS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Ruby on Rails and Yii. I have a diverse range of skills and I’m just as happy building software for a touch-screen kiosk, as I am building a mobile app or a large scale PHP application.

I am the owner of Orchard Hosting, a company that provided web hosting to thousands of clients. I am currently in the process of closing Orchard Hosting so I can concentrate on development and decrease my chance of a heart attack.

I am a founder of Tariff Street, a web and application development team with strategic minds. We work together in a big room in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on large scale projects that most excite us.
